Before Covid I was assisting every Friday at the Yuba City Assembly Hall. I have been assigned to the Technical Department since I started volunteering here in June 2017. Our team still meets on Zoom every Friday and we are being trained and refreshed on department related skills. My job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Cleaning, Inventorying and Maintaining supply closets
Setting up Cameras and Equipment in order to record Hmong and other events as needed
Setup Technical equipment for various kinds of classroom and training school events including Audio Video etc.
Test and replace speakers,TV monitors, printers and shredders as needed
Testing, creating and replacing BNC and Ethernet cables
Some low voltage soldering repair work as needed
Cleaning, testing and replacing or installing security cameras
Running updates on PCs
Weekly test Assembly Hall sound equipment including: microphones, amplifiers, DSP, stage cameras, emergency loudspeakers and flashlights, FM transmitters, telephone system, speakers, attenuators and TV monitors
